TY + Vicky // Engagement Love Shoot // Love knows no distance

TY and Vicky has been together for 8 years – the longest relationship couple I ever had πŸ™‚ Throughout these 8 years, they have been living in separate cities – Melbourne, Sydney and Geelong. And as it has been proven, their love knows no distance.

TY loves driving, and Vicky loves sunflower. So for their shoot, we decided to drive out of the city, and we found canola fields! I was originally looking for sunflower fields, but it turned out sunflowers was not in season, so canola – its yellow sibling was chosen. TY is also an extreme enthusiast of flashlights – he has a huge collection of flashlights of different sizes, types and light intensity, and thus the inspiration of the last shot πŸ™‚

We drove to Geelong and to this little township called Golden Fields – which fits for its yellow canola fields πŸ™‚ One interesting (and cheeky) story – we sorta did this shoot in the field rather β€˜illegally’. We were driving around for a while, in hope of finding a canola field that is free to enter (which I believed should exist – since the email from the town officer said that the fields are government-owned). After an hour or so, we found a canola field that is possible to enter – it is not fenced by barb wire, but by only old fence.. We came to the house next to the fields, which we assume is the farmer, but there was no one there. So we decided to enter the fields anyway – not wanting to waste our couple of hours of journey :p

Now, in this winter and cold night, enjoy some yellowish warmth from this shoot! πŸ˜‰
